Angela L. Guerrero (Executive Director)

Lead Mentor and MS Therapist

Is a non-profit organization created by Angela L. Guerrero in 2012; this organization was created out of a desire to help at-risk adolescent females in our community.  The goals of the program are to enrich and instill self-esteem, integrity, confidence, strength, and develop character so they can become better and more empowered youth to face today’s challenges. Angela is currently disabled and was employed as a MS therapist working with children, adolescents, adults, and psych patients at Kingwood Pines Hospital.  Angela has her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Crisis and Trauma from Walden University in April 2015.  Angela has an extensive military background in logistics, leadership, mentoring, and training; she is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served 14 years on active duty.  Her duty locations include: Ft. Gordon, GA, NAS Jacksonville, FL, Fort Jackson, SC, and Korea.  Angela has also worked as a contractor for over 7 years with the U.S. Government and worked overseas alongside and in support of the U.S. military in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Washington, DC.
Angela is CPR certified and certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. 

 

Luis J. Guerrero – (Chairman)

Lead Mentor  and MS Therapist

Luis has worked at the Juvenile Probation Officer with Harris County Juvenile Probation Department along with working at Kingwood Pines Hospital as a MS therapist working with children, adolescents, adults, and psych patients.  Luis has hiss Master’s in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Forensic Psychology.  Luis is a military veteran having served 8 years active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps with an extensive background in leadership, finance, training, and mentoring.  His duty locations include: Yuma, AZ, Beaufort, SC, Hungary in support of the Kosovo Campaign.  Luis has worked as a Border Patrol agent along the Texas/Mexico border and has worked a contractor for 8 years with the U.S. Government in support of military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Washington, DC.
Luis is CPR certified, MANDT certified and certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
